A VENETIAN SMALL EWER, the conical body with spiked gadrooned lower part, applied with three lion's masks enriched with gilding alternating with applied turquoise prunts with traces of gilding on a band of trailed thread, the flared neck with a vermicular collar at the base and with a band of granular gilding between applied turquoise filigree, the double-scroll handle with pincered ornament and the reeded curved spout with turquoise rim, the conical foot enriched with a band of granular gilding (some staining to interior), late 16th/early 17th century
