One of the trilogy of landscapes made in the late years of the artist - two others being Awa Naruto no fukei 'A view of the whirlpools at Naruto in Awa Province' and Buyo Kanazawa hassho yakei 'Night view of eight excellent sceneries of Kanazawa in Musashi Province
