A ROMAN MARBLE TORSO OF A PHILOSOPHER, standing with weight on left leg, the right knee slightly bent, wearing a himation which falls in deep folds, and is draped over his left shoulder leaving his right upper torso bare, the left hand is held behind his back, his right arm would have rested by his side, less modelled at back (probably to stand in a niche), lower right arm, mid-left arm and feet missing, mounted on marble spool base, 2nd Century A.D.
