A GROUP OF SEVEN LARGE TURQUOISE GLAZED COMPOSITION AMULETS, comprising a squatting Bes, 3cm. high; a seated monkey, 4.9cm. high; a jackal-headed Anubis, 6.4cm. high; a hippopotamus, Tueris, 6.5cm. high; an ibis-headed Thoth, 5.5cm. high; a triad of Isis, Horus and Nephthys, 4cm. high; and another Tueris, damaged, 4.3cm. high, all mounted on wood stand, Late Period (712-332 B.C.); a bright blue glazed composition amulet of Bes, with details in black; and a turquoise glazed composition scarab, the rev. with a duck, both 3rd Intermediate Period (1070-712 B.C.), 4.1cm. high and 1.3cm. long respectively (9)
