The mokkogata tsuchime-ji plate decorated with a rain dragon in shallow nikubori and silver zogan, the reverse with a stylised vajra, rounded mimi, with a wood box
2 7/8in. (7.3cm.), thickness 4.5mm.

This powerful, expressive dragon is finished in heavy silver nunome and is probably the work of the first master.
