An unusual brass skeleton timepiece with detent escapement, the foliate pierced frame with seven double-screwed pillars, chain fusee extended above the train, the unusual detent escapement with brass bob and ebony-rod pendulum, the silvered chapter ring having a large diameter seconds ring above VI and black painted hands, on oval alabaster plinth with glass dome (cracked)
