Lot Essay

Kamiyama Yoshimichi was born the son of an Asano clansman of Utsunomiya. He was adopted by marriage by Kamiyama and given charge of the paintings of Nikko Toshogu shrine. He began metalwork when Tsuchiya Kunichika came to the region.
