A BÖTTGER SQUAT BALUSTER TEAPOT AND COVER painted in the manner of Johann Ehrenfried Stadler with a bird perched on a flowering shrub with iron-red and gilt flowers and purple foliage with a rocky outcrop with a gilt roofed pavilion to one side, the curved spout with mask terminal, the loop handle with incised foliage terminals and both painted with flowers, the cover similarly painted and with an iron-red zig-zag and pink flowerhead border (chip to spout, inside rim of cover, tip of finial and footrim, the handle rubbed), circa 1725
