A MEISSEN IMARI-PATTERN CREAM-JUG AND STAND, the flared jug with pinched lip and loop handle, painted in underglaze blue and overglaze iron-red, yellow, green and gilding with trailing flowering branches, the interior with a butterfly and a border of meandering iron-red foliage and yellow flowers, the stand similarly painted with two moulded flat arrow-head handles (lip chipped, minute graze to one handle of stand), blue crossed swords marks and K for Kretschmar and Dreher's .. to both pieces, circa 1730
