A NORWEGIAN PEG TANKARD on three claw and ball feet and with scroll handle, double pomegranate thumbpiece and hinged domed cover, chased with panels of foliage and engraved with initials JHP AMP within a ribbon-tied palm leaf cartouche, circa 1700, marks overstruck and further marked with the warden's mark of Peter Michael Blytt, Bergen circa 1820, probably on repair or re-sale
