A DRESDEN CENTRE-DISH FOR A TABLE modelled as a pierced rectangular balustrade with rectangular columns, painted on the interiors with figures and on the exteriors with bouquets, two surmounted by bulbous vases with flower finials, the remaining columns surmounted by children standing wearing flowered dress and variously holding rustic implements, an artist's palette and a fan, the interior of the dish inset with a mirror, on a later wooden base (damage and restoration to figures, cracks and repairs to three sections of balustrade), circa 1880
