Lot Essay

Chloe, one of the better known winners of the Waterloo Cup, was a black and white bitch by Judge out of Clara and actually belonged to Mr T.T.C. Lister and not R.J.C. Lister as stated on the label on the reverse. The Waterloo Cup is still by far the most important event in the coursing calendar, being contested by 64 dogs in a knockout basis at Altcar, near Liverpool.
