Formed as a birdcage, decorated in gold and silver hiramakie, takamakie, gold kirikane and togidashi, the cover with three birds, within gold lacquered cage, the box with sprays of flowers, the base with peonies and a flowering plum tree, interiors in red lacquer, six feet decorated in hirame, minor old restoration
