A GLAIVE (COUSE) with leaf-shaped cleaver-like blade double-edged towards the point, tapering socket of circular section, two straps (incomplete), and later wooden staff, 17th Century, probably German; and a Swiss bill, the blade of narrow oblong form, flat triangular top spike with beak-like fluke at its base, triangular fluke at the centre of the back, tubular socket open on one side, two straps, and stout wooden staff of rounded oblong section stamped 'Luzern'
