A GILT-BRASS HILTED SMALL-SWORD with earlier rapier blade with long ricasso struck on each face with a bull's head mark, fullered forte, the central fuller on each face stamped respectively 'Iesvs Salvator Mundi' and 'Est Protector Mevs', boatshell hilt (gilding rubbed) including the grip and two lobe-tipped quillons (rear one broken off) cast and chased in low relief with rocailles, German, mid-18th Century; another, similar, with slender blade of flattened-triangular section etched, blued and gilt at the base (rubbed), mid-18th Century; and another, in late 17th Century style, the brass hilt cast in low relief with Classical figures and foliage (rubbed)
