A TURKISH MIQUELET-LOCK GUN with twist octagonal sighted barrel inlaid with a silver band on the muzzle, breech, and standing back-sight, and retained by four engraved white-metal bands (one split), the lock engraved with scrollwork heightened with gold, the figured full stock (fore-end chipped) set with silver panels pierced and engraved with scrollwork, foliage, and geometric designs, behind the barrel an engraved silver panel cut with maker's name 'Mustafa' and the date, and on the upper side of the butt with owner's name 'Mustafa aghe', fluted silver button trigger, silver fore-end cap, and original iron ramrod, dated 1813
