Lot Essay

Lady Mary Talbot, eldest daughter of George Talbot, 7th Earl of Shrewsbury, K.G. and his step-sister Mary, daughter of Sir William Cavendish, married in 1604 William Herbert, 3rd Earl of Pembroke, K.G., Lord Chamberlain of the Household and Chancellor of the University of Oxford. She died without issue in 1649
