A LARGE KHORASSAN SILVER AND COPPER INLAID BRASS BASIN with flat base and rounded sides recurved to the flaring sixteen-cusped rim, the interior worked with a central repoussé rosette flanked by inlaid pointed lobes surrounded by a band of linked roundels containing harpies between stylised kufic inscription bands, a broad band of scrolling vine around a naskh honourific inscription with human-headed hastae around the rim, rope-pattern band above, early 13th century (slightly rubbed, traces of tinning)
