Entitled 'Opisanie sviashchenneishago koronovaniia Ikh Imperatorskikh Velichestv gosudaria imperatora Aleksandra Vtorogo i gosudarynia imperatritsy Marii Aleksandrovny vseia Rossii [Description of the most sacred Coronation of Theie Imperial Majesties the Lord Emperor Alexander II and the Lady Empress Maria Aleksandrovna of all Russia]', including chromolithographed title, frontispiece, portrait, 14 plates after Zichy, Timm, Sorrieul, Teichel and Blanchard, finished by hand, folding panorama and two plans, 108 pages of text with 30 wood-engravings on india paper. (A few leaves slightly spotted or soiled, two slightly loose). Bound in original green morocco, the upper cover stamped in gilt with coronation emblem, both covers with elaborate brass cornerpieces and clasps (one clasp detatched, slightly rubbed, gilt spine worn and loose). Elephant folio, 36¼ x 27¾in. (92 x 70.5cm.)
