A MEISSEN GOLD-MOUNTED RECTANGULAR SNUFF-BOX painted in green monochrome and with flesh tints with gallants and companions in landscape vignettes after Watteau, the interior of the cover with a shepherdess dancing while three musicians play a flute, a harp and a mandolin in an extensive landscape (slight crack to right hand corner of cover and very slight flake to enamel on cover, corners of base rubbed), the mount stamped 173 and with two décharge marks, circa 1750
