A MEISSEN PART DINNER AND DESSERT SERVICE, painted in underglaze-blue, iron-red and gilding with exotic birds perched on flowering peony issuing from pierced rocks and with butterflies above, some pieces with solid borders painted with flowers and meandering leaves, others with pierced diaper-pattern borders painted with leaves within moulded mirror-shaped cartouches, comprising:
A shallow rectangular vegetable-tureen and cover, the finial formed as a kneeling putto scattering fruit and leaves from an upturned cornucopia (minute chips to finial)
