A TANTO BLADE BY YOSHINDO YOSHIHARA based on the celebrated "Hocho" or "kitchen-knife" tanto by Goro Nyudo Masamune, the wide hirazukuri blade marumune and almost musori, with sukashi gomabashi and engraved tsume similar to the original, itame-mokume hada and broad yakiba with midare hamon in nie-deki, ubu nakago with kengyo jiri and one mekugi-ana, signed Yoshindo, 16.5cm. long, with gilt metal habaki in shirasaya
