Provenance
Marie, Duchess of Grafton who gave an emerald brooch and a pair of earrings (see following lot) to her grandaughter Marie Constance Mallet (1862-1934), who was Maid of Honour to Queen Victoria in 1887. The brooch was re-set in the late 1920s and has passed to the present owner by descent
