The movement with cut bimetallic balance to lever platform, hour repeat button to the top of the case with the five minute repetition button to the rear acting on a star and snail visible to the backplate behind a blued steel gong, the white enamel Roman chapter disc signed by the retailer The J. E. Ellis Co. Ltd., Toronto, blued steel distaff hands, gilt mask, the case with rope twist columns and handle to top.
