A SUPERB IVORY SPOON, the figure finial with raised hands holding an object to the mouth, wearing three tiered conical headdress, notched spine and clearly defined shoulder blades, the stem with carved parallel horizontal grooves, slender oval bowl, fine creamy to dark golden patina, old rivetted repair to stem, minor chip to base of bowl, probably Baga, possibly 18th century or earlier
