A MEISSEN (MARCOLINI) TWO-HANDLED URN-SHAPED CUP, COVER AND SAUCER painted with linked garlands of flowers and forget-me-nots entwined with a berried laurel branch below orange-ground borders moulded with classical ornament, the domed cover with similar border below a garland of forget-me-nots and laurel and a gilt seated winged griffin finial; and a cup, cover and saucer similar with fretwork handle (both with one wing of griffin finial lacking), blue crossed swords and star marks, one saucer with 4 and the cup and saucer with 1, puce numerals 20. and 30. to saucers, incised 1 to first saucer and Roman numerals to footrim of two-handled cup, circa 1780 (2)
