Title printed in red and black and with a large woodcut of the entombment of Christ, full-page woodcut of the risen Christ on p8v, 15 small vignettes in the text, printed in gothic letter in 2 columns. (Without the final blank.) Modern polished calf, gilt edges (front joint beginning to crack).
The fine woodcut of the risen Christ flanked by SS. Andrew and Longinus is a copy of an engraving by Mantegna (see Kristeller, Andrea Mantegna, p.400 and J. Martineau, Andrea Mantegna, Royal Academy 1992, nos. 45-47). Sander 5697; Olschki Choix V, 5063.
