A William and Mary silver-mounted ebonised striking bracket clock, the case on block feet, the front door applied with well cast silver mounts of scrolling foliage and strap work, the side mounts terminating in flaming urns, the central mounts centred with a Marotesque mask, similar mounts to the galleried top with flaming urn finials to the four angles and surmounted by a silver ring handle, the later dial inscribed Francis Robinson London at the top within foliate engraving, silvered chapter ring with matted centre having decorated mock pendulum and calendar apertures, pierced blued hands, silver winged cherub spandrels, the five ringed pillar twin fusee (wire lines) movement with verge escapement and strike on bell above, the backplate finely engraved with inhabited foliate strap work within a wheatear border, secured with bolts through base pillars; composite
