A MESOPOTAMIAN POTTERY BOWL, of shallow squat form, the rounded shoulder and everted rim decorated with incised infilled triangles, finely potted, 3 5/8in. (9.2cm.) diam; another similar, smaller, slight chip to rim, 2 3/8in. (6cm.) diam; and a biconical jar with everted rim and stemmed flaring foot, the two lug side handles pierced twice, the body with brown linear decoration, the shoulder with chequerboard and crosshatched triangles, 2 7/8in. (7.3cm.) high, all Ninevite 5, circa 2900-2500 B.C. (3)
