A PAIR OF POTSCHAPPEL (CARL THIEME) OGEE-SHAPED VASES AND COVERS AND TWO STANDS, the spirally-moulded covers modelled with cherubs flanking crowned Coats-of-Arms, the shoulders applied in high relief with seated maidens holding flowers flanked by moulded scrolls entwined with pink ribbon, the necks encircled with garlands, the bodies painted on the fronts and reverses with figures enjoying leisurely pursuits in gardens, on flowered spirally-moulded stems and flowered square bases painted with vignettes of lovers (both restored, chips to applied and moulded decoration), blue cross and T marks, circa 1900
