etching with drypoint and engraving, 1649, Hollstein's second (final) state before the Baillie re-work, a fine impression, the face of Christ clear and distinct, watermark Strasburg Lily with countermark Name of Jesus, with narrow margins, a tiny loss and touched-in spot above the figure of Christ, the extreme lower right sheet corner made up, a very short tear at the centre left edge, one or two other short tears and tiny repairs at the edges, old tape at the reverse sheet corners, other minor defects, otherwise generally in very good condition
