A TIMURID TURQUOISE GLAZED AND SILHOUETTE-WARE BOWL, of rounded form with slightly everted rim on short foot, the interior covered with a black slit around a central turquoise roundel with black flowerhead flanked by eight petal motifs, the interstices filled with silhouetted flowering inscriptions, the rim with a band of stylised cloud-band motifs, the turquoise exterior with a band of simple black leafy motifs, 15th century (areas of restoration and slight irredescence)
