A FINE KASHAN SAUCER DISH OF SHALLOW CONICAL FORM on short foot, the white interior painted with a large central roundel of blue scrolling motifs around three bold black scrolling and lobed arabesque stylised leaves, ringed by groups of radiating lines, a band of blue roundels occasionally interrupted by similar black motifs around the rim, the exterior with alternating black and blue paired radiating lines, 13th century (repaired clean breaks, very slight irridescence on reverse)
