The last photograph shows a carved wood temple figure, which would appear to be the same as the figure now in the collection of the Musée de l'Homme, Paris. An illustration in Hawaiian Sculpture by Cox and Davenport, 1974, shows what would appear to be the same sculpture, collected in Hawaii prior to 1879. The photograph in the book shows the extent of damages which have occurred to the figure since the 1870s.
