City views and landscape, with six c-de-v portraits of Aborigines and sixteen Maori portraits. Hawaiian studies include portraits of H.M. King Kalakana, H.M. Queen Kapiolani, the Dowager Queen Emma, the Princess Ruth Keelikolani and others. The last photograph shows a carved wood temple figure, which would appear to be the same as the figure now in the collection of the Musée de l'Homme, Paris. An illustration in Hawaiian Sculpture by Cox and Davenport, 1974, shows what would appear to be the same sculpture, collected in Hawaii prior to 1879. The photograph in the book shows the extent of damages which have occurred to the figure since the 1870s.
