A BERLIN GROUP OF MYTHOLOGICAL FIGURES modelled as Venus seated on a shell-moulded plinth, lightly clad in a pale-green and apricot robe enriched with gilt stars, holding out an apple above the heads of two love-birds, a hunter seated beside her with his dog, the goddess attended by three playful cherubs holding Cupid's attributes, on a mound base crisply moulded with white and gilt scrolls, blue sceptre mark, iron-red KPM and globe mark, Pressnummer 669/4, circa 1880
