A PAIR OF FRENCH GOTHIC REVIVAL OAK CANOPIED THRONES, adapted to bookcases, each with a pierced pediment of arched windows with trefoil roundels, the square uprights applied with croquettes and carved with figures beneath arches, the vaulted ceiling centred by a turned finial, the back centred by angels within roundels, carved with rosettes and quatrefoils, above arches, later fitted with three shelves above the base with carved panels to the front centred by three fleur-de-lys and with two panels to each side on a moulded base, early 19th Century and adapted in the late 19th Century
