A BLUE AND WHITE DEEP DISH painted at the centre with prunus and bamboo issuing from rockwork beneath a willow tree within a band of flower-heads in the well reserved with four floral cartouches, the flat everted border with flower-sprays issuing from the rim (one underside rim chip), Qianlong, 41.6cm. diam.; and a smaller blue and white dish painted with an allover design of a phoenix standing beside rockwork and peony, the reverse with cloud scrolls (one small rim chip, fritted), Xuande six-character mark, 18th Century, 32.5cm. diam.
