AN IVORY FIGURATIVE VASE carved with four rings on high shoulders, the body incised in shallow relief with bands of overlapping plantain leaves, cloud-scrolls, ruyi-heads and stylised foliage separated by undecorated areas, the whole surrounded with a continuous scene from the Romance of the Three Kingdoms, showing figures and horses in vigorous combat (minor age cracks, cover missing), late Qing Dynasty
