Engraved portrait of Lord Grenville, 81 hand-coloured plates, including 64 aquatint views by Bluck, Stadler, Hill and others after Pugin, Mackenzie, Westall and others, 17 stipple and line engraved costume plates. (Half-titles lacking, Abbey's plate 48 with small area of sky retouched, some offsetting of plates onto text.) Contemporary red straight-grained morocco, lavishly tooled in gilt and blind, g.e. (hinges slightly split). Provenance: William Frederick Webb (armorial bookplate).
