(First four leaves detached and a little soiled.) Publisher's blue roan-backed cloth, titled in gilt on upper cover (somewhat soiled, extremities a little scuffed, front inner hinge split). Provenance: William Burn Callander (author's presentation inscription, dated 30 Nov 1840).
