Cast in two parts, the shallow rounded basin with wide everted rim enamelled with bird and flower cartouches divided by Buddhist Emblems among clouds on a turquoise ground, all supported on three bulbous feet decorated with leafy lotus scrolls and surmounted by a double-domed cover similarly decorated and crowned by a pierced gilt-bronze knop finial, the legs slightly loose
