A PAIR OF SILVER-MOUNTED FLINTLOCK HOLSTER PISTOLS with brass barrels engraved 'London' on the top flat of the breech, plain iron tangs, signed flat bevelled locks each with engraved safety-catch, and engraved with flowers and foliage on the cock and plate (one cock repaired), the pans each with water drains, moulded figured walnut full stocks (one a working replacement), each carved with a shell behind the barrel tang, engraved silver mounts including spurred pommels each with trophy of arms cap, trophy of arms side-plates and escutcheons, the latter engraved 'Gift Æneas Campbell To Mungo Grant', turned silver ramrod-pipes, and original horn-tipped ramrods, one with worm (the other incomplete), by John Henshaw, London, London silver hallmarks for 1749 and 1754, maker's mark JA
