A PAIR OF FLINTLOCK DUELLING PISTOLS with swamped octagonal barrels signed on the top flat, silver fore-sights, gold vents, engraved tangs, signed bevelled locks with safety-catches, figured walnut half-stocks, chequered butts, engraved iron mounts including butt-caps and spur trigger-guards with pineapple finial, vacant diamond-shaped silver escutcheons, set triggers, silver barrel-bolt escutcheons and fore-end caps, and brass-mounted wooden ramrods (some wear overall, one fore-end chipped): in later lined and fitted brass-mounted wooden case with some accessories including copper three-way flask, by Robert Wogdon, London, London proof marks, circa 1780
