Two Small Green-Glazed Pottery Vessels
Tang dynasty, 8th century
One a bowl with rounded sides rising from the flared foot ring to the lipped rim, covered with a glaze of bright leaf-green color applied over a white slip; the other a cup, the sides flaring from the spreading foot ring to a sharp-edged groove and then rising straight up to the everted rim, also covered inside and out with a green glaze
4 1/16 and 3 3/16in. (10.3 and 8.2cm.) diam., one box
