AN IRISH GEORGE II MAHOGANY CENTRE TABLE
The rounded rectangular dished top above a shaped apron centred on the front and reverse by a shell, on cabriole legs headed by shells, on square paw feet, with 1850s paper label on the underside inscribed in ink 'This table was given by a Mrs Pilkington of the county West Meath to her Nephew Mr Luke Pilkington on his coming to Dublin as an officer in HM customs about 1770 It passed to his daughter Anna Williams in 1834 and to her son Isaac in 1845...' and with remains of printed paper label '103...'
