The case with spiral-twist pilasters to the flat-top hood, rectangular trunk door, on stepped plinth, the 7in. square engraved brass dial signed Jno. Bell London on the Roman chapter ring, with harbourside cottage scene to the centre and subsidiary seconds ring (hand lacking), the four pillar rack striking movement with anchor escapement -- 69in. (175.5cm.) high
