Manuscript on buff paper, 322ff. with 15ll. of black naskh, text outlined with gold, gold rosettes between verses, sura headings written in blue with freely drawn gold and polychrome floral illumination, similar illumination marking juz and sajda, finely illuminated opening bifolio, final folio with colophon signed by the scribe known as Hafez al-Qur'an and dated 1271, signed below by the illuminator, Husayn al-Hasani and dated 1271, very good condition, original tan morocco binding with two-tone gold floral decoration
