A VICTORIAN SILVER COMPOTE

In the Renaissance style, on circular foot rising to a knopped stem, the bowl with two scrolling handles, the body decorated overall to resemble cut card work with floral swags suspended from grotesque masks, the rim of beads, the detachable cover with similar design rising to a finial, marked on body and cover.
