A MEISSEN BLUE AND WHITE CIRCULAR DISH, the centre painted with a stylised flowerhead enclosed by three flowering shrubs issuing from rockwork and fences within a diaper border reserved with three panels painted with insects (three rim chips, one with associated hair crack), blue crossed swords mark with S between the blades, circa 1735
