A FINE SILESIAN WHEEL-LOCK TSCHINKE with octagonal sighted barrel swamped at the muzzle and retaining some punched decoration in three panels, characteristic lock with engraved cock, and punched fences, walnut full stock profusely inlaid with horn lines, pellets and scrolls enclosing panels engraved with animals (minor repairs) and enriched with mother-of-pearl insets, on the cheek-piece a mounted huntsman, horn butt-plate engraved with a hound, original patch-box cover and ramrod, second quarter of the 17th Century, probably Teschen
